Balance of Power - August 5, 2004

A couple of days ago, while I was out, Xiv'er partook in the Surjin ceremony and became a full Surjin! UUURAGGH XIV!!

Nholg'gholm showed up for a rare appearance today, and stated that acting tribe leader Pigulg is now the full tribe leader of the Surjinz. However, he has also expressed interest in returning, and resuming command of the tribe! Come back soon, Nholg!!

Xiv'er submitted a bio - apologies to Xiv because I lost his pic. I'll take another one ASAP, and get his bio page up. If a guy can make a bio within five minutes of learning about their existence, the rest of you have no excuse. And no stealing Xiv's idea, either.

Something Old, Something New - June 25, 2004

Krunk has been re-accepted into the Surjinz on a provisional basis, until such time that Nholg re-awakens and makes a final judgment. Krunk has previously been in the Surjinz as Krunk, as well as Hargak and Buurz'lig.

We have also accepted a new Surjin, for the first time in over a year! Big UUURAGGH to Burz'ark, long-lost brother of Smo and now also a full Surjin in the clan!! UUURAGGH BURZ!!!

Also, I've updated a couple of my own bios. Smo's bio is changed to reflect the true story of his past, and Tha'Grunk's bio is now up. Happy reading!

Overdue Update - February 26, 2004

It's been quite a while. Post-AoS, the clan overall has seen a massive drop in activity. However, there are still 10 active Surjinz, played by 8 separate players, so I think we're doing all right.

I'm working on updating the roster section, but STILL need bios from just about everyone. Even I get some work to do... bah.

Piggi's current Wargoth, and S'du (formerly Snog'dug) is a magruka. Appropriate, if delayed, hoowahs to both!

Expanding the Ranks - February 15, 2003

Re-awakenings and Reconstruction - November 2, 2002

Where to begin?

Buurz'lig has recently re-awakened, and is currently doing time as a gruntee to make up for his long absence. We hope he'll rejoin the Surjinz soon.

Smo'dis has also re-awakened after his college network put him out of commission. Unfortunately, he's stranded in the strange and horrible world of UO3D, and with no mouse to boot. An A for effort, anyway.

Halloween was fun. I'll try and get some pics up on the site later.

Speaking of the site, I've converted all the pages into a regular .html extension to save myself a lot of editing trouble. I've also re-formatted the menu bar into a much easier JavaScript external menu. And I'm currently working on expanding the Roster page a bit more.

All this and a chess game to coordinate! How DOES he do it??

Catching Up - October 6, 2002

Gah! Surri for the delay in updating, but I've been really busy in real life and haven't had as much time to do stuff. College is evil.

Sadly, Hargak is no longer among us. After a dispute, the details of which he prefers be kept private, he has quit the clan. Gug'ye Hargak.

In brighter news, the bubhosh Surjin mak'r Luska who was believed lost forever is still with us!! She was previously playing on an account held by her sister (the bubhosh Drutha, who has passed from our ranks), but has taken full ownership of the account and is more active than ever!! UUURAGGH LUSKA!!!

Congratulations to Hargak, as of yesterday the newest Surjin in the Shadowclan! Hargak, who has previously been in the Surjinz under the name Buurz'lig, will make a fine addition to the tribe. UUURAGGH HARGAK!!

Another Gug'ye - August 26, 2002

Gu'thak, dissatisfied with the state of the shard, announced his sleep today. Gug'ye Gu, and good luck in future games. (Who is the Head Mojoka now?)

In other cyber-news, X'ugar of the Blakfists has released Blakfist Web Site, v2.0. This is a major improvement over the previous site, which was years out-of-date. Good work Bugar; links page updated.

Good Morning - August 25, 2002

After a few days of sleeping off brain pain, Smo'dis has again awakened to clomp alongside his fellow orcs! UUURAGGH!!!

Leaders and Sleepers - August 21, 2002

Yesterday, the bubhosh mojoka F'ru stepped down from his out-of-game positions as Head Grunt Trainer and Head Mojoka. The spots have been filled by Brugh of the Durbat Ashu and Gu'thak of the Surjinz, respectively. Hoowah to both!

Also yesterday, after a lot of frustration, Smo'dis has decided to take a nap. I just need some time to clear my head and figure out where the clan is right now before I log back on. I'll be back! And Nholg, keep me informed on the in-game skah!

I apologize for continually posting news the day after it happens. I'll try to be more on-the-ball in the future.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly - August 20, 2002

Yesterday was a good day for the Surjinz. The Surjin warboss, Rak'Thor, defeated Drok of the Krath'Kuulz today to become the clan Wargoth! UUURAGGH WARGOTH RAK'THOR!!!

However, the day was also soiled with sad news. Ligza, a valued Surjin, has deleted her orc character and sold her account. We'll miss you, Ligza.

Grand Opening - August 19, 2002

Wow. I never realized how much trouble it is just to get a decent site on the web. After many many months of preparations and organization, the rudimentary framework of the Surjin website is on-line! Uuuraggh!
